El 21 de diciembre del 2021 se publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación de México, la Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-033-1-SE-2020, sobre artículos de oro, plata, platino y paladio-Parte 1-Información comercial y métodos de análisis. Se cancela a la NOM-033-SCFI-1994.
